Nominations Time

The Wesleyan movement of the 18th Century took off like a spiritual wildfire in the colonies and through the rural communities going west. At one point the people called Methodists were the largest denomination of the Protestant Church in the colonies.
Most scholars believe the fruit of the Wesleyan movement rested on the shoulders of the laity. The UMC has a long history (unlike most other traditions of the time) of being lay-driven. WUMC continues this tradition of maintaining strong lay leadership.
The WUMC Nominations Committee is responsible for connecting your spiritual gifts with positions to serve in our church community. Please read over the details of each committee in the linked booklet below and prayerfully consider requesting to serve using the form linked at the Serving Opportunities button. You may select multiple categories, though you will only serve on one committee.
Please contact Pastor Wallace if you have any questions about a committee.
Thank you!
